UCF Information

The University of Central Florida, a member of the state university system of Florida, is a research institution located in Orlando, Florida. The University first opened its doors in June of 1963, and now has an enrollment of over 50,000 students. The University of Central Florida is a major metropolitan research university whose mission is to deliver a comprehensive program of teaching, research, and service. It serves students who are diverse in age, ethnic, racial identity, and socioeconomic background. The 1,415-acre campus is located in the Orlando suburbs, thirteen miles northeast of downtown. We are within one mile of many restaurants, shops, and hotels. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Disney-MGM Studios, Epcot, beaches, and many other exciting activities are within driving distance of UCF.

The University of Central Florida has many benefits to offer educational conference programs and their guests. UCF is centrally located in the state and is convenient to many local attractions. The on-campus housing facilities offer modern, carpeted, and air-conditioned accommodations. The Student Union offers numerous meeting rooms and board rooms, as well as ballroom space. The fabulous Recreation and Wellness Center offers a 41 foot high climbing wall as well as a variety of training equipment. There are many other opportunities available on campus such as a mini grocery store, arcade, flower shop, pool hall, food court, ATM access, and a UCF souvenir shop. The food court provides various eateries and restaurants.
