UCF Housing’s Residential Support Services Coordinator, Blaise Nunzio Guerriero, M Ed., won this year’s ACUHO-I Case Study Competition for the second year in a row.

According to the Association of College and University Housing Officers – International, or ACUHO-I, website, the Case Study is a competition for graduate students and new professionals whom have less than 5 years of professional experience. The competition is judged by the association’s leadership which includes members of the Executive Board and the Annual Conference Program Chair. The case study itself focuses on a contemporary issue that an entry level professional may be faced with when focusing on the growth and development of students in the residence halls.

This year’s case study looked focused on a number of timely topics including occupancy management, student staff accountability, and DEI. Blaise researched and presented his case study at the 2022 ACUHO-I Annual Conference & Exposition hosted in Pittsburgh, PA and June 16, 2022.

The Department of Housing and Residence Life congratulates Blaise for the positive impact he has made on our residents and the Knights community!
