Kaytlyn Korte is a fifth-year senior, studying Health Sciences Pre-Clinical with a minor in Psychology. After living on campus her Freshman and Sophomore year in Neptune and Hercules respectivelyKaytlyn applied to become a Housing Ambassador (HA). She has been an integral part in the impact the Housing Ambassador team makes to incoming students looking at housing. “My favorite part of being an HA is giving tours to prospective students and helping them find the community that best suits their wants and needs!

Kaytlyn keeps busy on campus by staying involved. In addition to her role as a Housing Ambassador, she is a LEAD Scholars Academy Alumni, a former member of International Medical Outreach, President of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and a Vice Chair on the UCF’s President’s Leadership CouncilMy favorite thing about UCF is all the diverse opportunities available. I was actually able to travel out of the country for the first time with International Medical Outreach in 2017 on a medical mission trip! Which is something I never would have been able to do/afford without UCF and IMO

While she keeps herself busy, Kaytlyn is preparing for Graduate School. Her goal is to complete a Masters in Public Health or Masters in Medical Science degree before applying to Medical School.

Kaytlyn’s supervisor said “Kaytlyn is always helping out the team and goes the extra mile. If she sees a problem or a potential area of improvement, she will point it out. She takes initiative to consistently learn and stay attuned to department updates and is an excellent resource to our potential and incoming students and their families. Kaytlyn has been representing Housing on various virtual platforms including Virtual Housing Tours and Admissions Student Panels. While I will miss her terribly when she graduates, I can’t wait to see where her future takes her!
