DHRL Schmears the Love Posted Friday, January 17, 2020 @ 2:58 PM Each semester, UCF Housing hosts several resident appreciation events across its various campuses. From move-in pool parties to free carnivals, all residents are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to mingle with fellow residents and meet their UCF Housing staff. Earlier this week, NorthView residents were presented with a full breakfast catered by Einstein’s Bagels. Located in the NorthView breezeway, residents enjoyed a large assortment of bagels, schmears, coffee, and orange juice before heading out to class or work. The gesture came as a surprise to many residents, who were grateful for the free food and took advantage of the most important meal of the day. UCF Housing Marketing Coordinator Hayden Lau stated, “When planning our appreciation events, we aim to schedule them at a time that will reach the most students. Given that everyone’s schedule is different and the new semester is still fresh, we decided to be there for the start of the day to wish our residents well and let them know that we care.” Residents in our main campus and Rosen College communities can regularly check our social media channels for information on their resident appreciation events coming later this semester.
