The Libra Community features six residence halls and is reserved for first-year students. The Libra Community is close to the Health Center, ’63 South dining hall, and the Recreation and Wellness Center. There are two different styles of rooms in the community: the L-shaped and the Pod-Style suites.
L-Shaped suites offer a more separated floorplan and feature a small additional closet space for each resident. Pod-Style suites are great for residents who want more opportunities to meet their neighbors. Each suite opens onto a central “pod” area on each floor- a shared living space that includes couches, tables and chairs for the floor residents to gather in. Both styles are two-bedroom suites with a shared bathroom between each suite. Each two-bedroom suite houses four residents.
In the center of the community is the Libra Community Center, a common area with a large screen television, used for area residential programming and student use. There is also a common kitchen area that students may use by request of the residence life staff. There are also two laundry rooms and an area for vending machines. Students can park with a student decal in Garage B or surface lots located near the community.
