RAs play a vital role in building safe, inclusive, and supportive residential communities. Main responsibilities include:
Community Building: Hosting programs and events, leading community meetings, supporting Area Council, facilitating roommate agreements, and fostering relationships.
Student Support: Connecting residents to campus resources, providing peer support, and mediating conflicts.
Administrative Duties: Completing incident reports, submitting work orders, conducting occupancy and welcome-ready checks, attending meetings, and managing email communication.
Duty Coverage: Serving in weekday evening on-duty shifts (office hours 4:45pm–8pm, on-call 8pm–8am) and weekend/holiday 24-hour on-call shifts (4:45pm–4:45pm).
