Work Orders
Please use the online work forms to request work. In urgent situations, such as a toilet running over, power outage, or an extremely hot or cold room, call the Work Control Center immediately.
Online Work Order Directions
- Go to www.fo.ucf.edu
- Click on the “Work Request Form” button
- Log in with your NID and password
- Click the “Submit a Work Request” button
- Follow the prompts on screen
- Once submitted, a work order is then created and assigned
- You’ll receive email confirmation when the work order is created, when work is scheduled and when work is complete.
In an Emergency
The online work order form is for routine maintenance requests only. Please do not enter emergency requests through this form. An emergency request is a time-sensitive situation, such as inoperative elevator, toilets running over, power out, or an alarm that will not turn off.
For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 immediately. Examples are but not limited to: elevator entrapment, fire, traffic accidents.
For non-life-threatening emergencies, call the Work Control Center at (407) 823-5223. Dispatchers are available 24/7.
On-Campus Internet
What equipment do I need in order to use UCF’s ResNet service?
- A computer or other device with an ethernet port
- A standard ethernet cable
To connect:
- Securely plug one end of the ethernet cable into the ethernet port on your device and the other end into the orange data jack on the wall.
- Open your web browser and enter the ResNet website.
- Once on the website, click on the Registration link and follow the steps to register for ResNet service.
- If you experience any problems with your ResNet registration or service, you may submit a work ticket on the UCFIT website, or you may contact the Service Desk at 407.823.5117, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM or by email.

Laundry
To report an issue with a machine, you may call 1-800-927-9274 or send an email. You can also use the QR code on each machine to report issues.
To use the SpeedQueen laundry app:
- Download the SpeedQueen app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
- Setup your account.
- Add location. Our school code is UCF001.
- Choose your building and laundry room. You can see available machines across campus.
- Add money to your laundry account with a debit card or credit card.
- Use the app to find an available machine and pay for a cycle.

Vending
If you are experiencing issues with a vending machine please contact your community office. All community office telephone numbers and locations can be found here.
Vending Machine Locations – All communities have vending machines with drink and snack options. The vending machines are typically located in the lobby or near the laundry areas.
Tampering with Vending Machines – the Residence Life staff is happy to help you with any vending concerns. Tampering with the machines is against the Community Living Guide and Rules of Conduct.
Knightflix
Students living within our residence halls on the main campus and Rosen campus can access the Knightflix streaming movie channel via their laptop or desktop. Knightflix can be accessed in your room and common spaces in residence halls (IP proximity) using your NID and password.Knightflix has a large selection of streaming movies and also includes short videos that communicate important university information and announcements.
