Check-In Information

When you arrive, head to your community’s check-in station with your UCF ID card ready. Wait times may vary depending on how many residents arrive at the same time.

To help speed up the process, we recommend that residents check in while families and guests continue unloading vehicles and moving them to long-term parking.

At check-in, staff will:

  • Provide important move-in information
  • Issue room keys
  • Encode UCF ID cards
  • Share details about hall meetings and programs

After checking in, residents can return to the unloading zone to meet up with families and guests and continue unloading.

Buildings will remain open during move-in hours. For safety and security, please keep apartment and room doors closed whenever you are not present.

Move-In Equipment

Move-in equipment will be available to sign out during check-in, while supplies last.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Equipment must be returned to the community office after use
  • Any missing or damaged equipment charges will be posted to the student’s housing account
  • Equipment is not cleaned between uses — use at your own risk
  • Do not give signed-out equipment to another person, as the student who signed it out is responsible for returning it

For your safety, always PUSH equipment — DO NOT PULL.
