Creating a Welcoming Environment for LGBTQ Students Posted Tuesday, October 22, 2019 @ 1:26 PM The University of Central Florida was recognized as Florida’s “Best College for LGBTQ Students” in the most recent annual Campus Pride Index. UCF is committed to accepting all students, regardless of their gender identity, and assisting them in getting the best education possible. UCF Housing has contributed to these efforts by giving LGBTQ students the option to choose roommates who share the same gender identity. Accommodating residents with this living learning community provides them with a welcoming environment and access to several campus resources.
