The Department of Housing and Residence Life employs Housing Ambassadors (HAs) who are responsible for conducting daily tours of housing facilities, staffing four of the department’s main front desk areas, and assisting with special events for marketing on-campus housing.
Starting this summer, we are hiring Housing Ambassadors to work at UCF Downtown to promote our newest student housing, UnionWest at Creative Village. As an HA, you will staff the front desk and give tours at the UnionWest Preview Center in addition to working special events and other promotional opportunities. You are required to have reliable transportation to the UCF Center for Emerging Media at UCF Downtown. A UCF parking pass is valid at both the main campus and UCF Downtown. Below are qualifications and benefits/compensation for the HA role.
The selection process for the Housing Ambassador position generally takes place each summer. The first step of the process will be filling out an online application and completing two short essay questions, followed by a video submission. Candidates will then be selected for in-person interviews and notified of their hired status after all interviews are completed.
