Eligibility

Eligibility for UCF Housing is based on your student classification and the semester(s) for which you are seeking housing. Eligibility for a particular type of housing does not guarantee availability. Availability of all housing types will vary each year. Students may apply for UCF Housing once they are offered admission, and are always encouraged to apply for housing as early as possible.

If you are unable to apply for a type of housing for which you are eligible, you may join our waitlist. To do so:

  • Log in to myUCF and navigate to the Housing Portal
  • Click Application on the gold header
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select an agreement type
  • Confirm that you would like to join the waitlist
  • Optional: Add waitlist preferences for other agreement types by clicking “Go to Waitlist Selections.”

Married and family housing is not available at UCF.
Students participating in the UCF Online degree program are not able to live in UCF Housing. For more information, please see the Guidelines section of the UCF Online website.
