In accordance with CDC and University guidelines, individuals staying at UCF as part of the Non-UCF Scholar/Intern and Conference Housing program will be subject to COVID testing and monitoring. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
University of Central Florida officials continue to monitor the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The health and safety of our conference participants and staff remain our top priority, along with the larger University community. The Department of Housing and Residence Life offers several different types of accommodations for conference guests. The residence hall facilities provide a conducive setting for the educational youth programs while the apartments cater to the professional, educational conference groups as well as interns. All bedrooms are functionally furnished, have carpeting, and are air-conditioned. Please note that smoking is not permitted in any university building.
Conference Assistants live in the buildings and are able to assist with the conference guests. They are available to help with check-in and check-out procedures and handle lock-outs. Conference groups may choose to reserve the rooms with (Plan II) or without (Plan I) linen. Rates will differ depending on the type of living accommodation as well as the plan chosen.

Residence Halls: Apollo Community and Libra Community
The Apollo and Libra Community residence hall floor plans offer modern, furnished, residence hall accommodations. Rooms are double occupancy rooms (extra-long twin beds) with four people sharing a bathroom. Each room is carpeted and air-conditioned.
Plan I – $28.00 (without linens)
Plan II – $33.00 (with linens)
Plan I – Includes furnishings, but does not include linens. (Pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, and washcloths are not included in this package.)
Plan II – The rooms are the same as in Plan I, however, included will be a linen package provided for each guest. Two (2) sheets, one (1) pillow, one (1) pillowcase, one (1) blanket, two (2) bath towels, two (2) washcloths and one(1) bathmat. Soap and cups are included.
Apartments: Lake Claire Community Apartments and Rosen College Apartments
The Lake Claire Apartments and Rosen Apartments are rented by the week and their floor plans offer unique apartment-style living accommodations. Apartments include four (4) single bedrooms per apartment with extra-long twin beds, kitchen (refrigerator and full-sized oven), living area and two (2) bathrooms. Each apartment is carpeted and air-conditioned.
Plan II – $39 per person per night (with linens)
Linen Package – $25.00 one-time flat rate or $5 per person per night, whichever costs less
The apartment floor plans offer unique apartment style living accommodations. Apartments include four (4) single bedrooms, per apartment, with extra-long twin beds, kitchen (refrigerator and full-sized oven), living area and two (2) bathrooms. Each apartment has air-conditioning.
Plan II – The rooms are the same as in Plan I, however, included will be a linen package checked out to each guest. Two (2) sheets, one (1) pillow, one (1) pillowcase, one (1) blanket, two (2) bath towels, two (2) washcloths. The guest is responsible for laundering during their stay. Linen must be returned at the end of the stay.
Groups may begin checking in at 2:00 p.m. All groups must be checked out of the rooms by 11:00 a.m. Requests may be made for earlier check-in or later check-out times but these may not be available.
Due to COVID-19, our main campus custodial team has increased the frequency of cleaning/disinfecting high touch areas such as door handles, elevator buttons, handrails, water fountains.
The Housekeeping staff will enter the apartments on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to clean the bathrooms. If you come across any issues in your room that require special attention from our Physical Plant-Maintenance and Custodial Staff, first jot it down on your inventory. Then, call your request in to the office. A representative should be by your room sometime within 48 hours of the call.
