University of Central Florida officials continue to monitor the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The health and safety of your participants and staff remain our top priority, along with the larger University community. UCF leaders have made the difficult decision to limit non-essential campus gatherings — including in person classes, all on-campus summer instruction, and K-12 programs — through ALL summer sessions; A, B, C and D.
As a result of this decision, The Department of Housing and Residence Life and the office of Housing Conference Services sadly inform our valued clients, guests, and program sponsors that we will not be able to host camp or conference programs on any of our campuses this summer. All reservations for on-campus housing, meeting space, and other services for scheduled conference and camp programs, coordinated via the Housing Conference Services office, will be canceled through August 8, 2020.
Thank you for your cooperation as we navigate this evolving event together. For more details about UCF’s response to the virus, please click here.
We encourage you to share this message with your organization. If you have any questions, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Department of Housing and Residence Life offers several different types of accommodations for conference guests. The residence hall facilities provide a conducive setting for the educational youth programs while the apartments cater to the professional, educational conference groups as well as interns. All bedrooms are functionally furnished, have carpeting, and are air-conditioned. Please note that smoking is not permitted in any university building.
Conference Assistants live in the buildings and are able to assist with the conference guests. They are available to help with check-in and check-out procedures and handle lock-outs. Conference groups may choose to reserve the rooms with (Plan II) or without (Plan I) linen. Rates will differ depending on the type of living accommodation as well as the plan chosen.
