Getting Started

All UCF Housing communities come with the security and convenience of 24-hour staff support, furnished rooms, all utilities included (no utility caps!), high-speed Wi-Fi, individual leases, and unbeatable locations.

First-year students are given preference for housing on the Orlando main campus. Students of all classifications, from first-year to graduate students, may apply for student housing located at the Rosen College Apartments, UnionWest, and NorthView.

There are many types of available floorplans. These range from traditional shared suites to 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, luxury apartments and include a wide variety of price points. A shared suite typically accommodates two students to a bedroom, and two bedrooms (4 students) share a bathroom. Apartments can accommodate 2 to 6 students and typically feature private bedrooms, with shared living rooms and kitchens or kitchenettes. There is no hall-style or “dormitory” housing at UCF.

All students are encouraged to apply early for housing.

1. To get started, students must choose their campus and housing agreement.

Starting in Summer?

First-year students who are admitted for the Summer B semester have the opportunity to apply for a separate summer-only housing agreement in addition to their Fall housing agreement. Students moving in for Summer B may stay at the main campus or the Rosen campus, and will move out at the end of summer for the two-week break between summer and fall. Students will return after the break and move into their Fall room, where they will stay for the duration of the agreement.

Check out our five agreement types below. Follow the links to see locations, video tours, floorplans and more or get started by taking our quiz.

Campus: Main

Agreement: Academic-Year Housing

This housing agreement includes Fall and Spring only and is a great choice for first-year students. Students choosing this agreement will live in one of the following communities. Most rooms in Academic-Year housing are shared suites.

Agreement: Towers @ Knights Plaza

The Towers at Knights Plaza agreement is year-round and includes Fall, Spring, and the following Summer. Private bedrooms with full-size beds and a great location next to our on-campus shopping center make the Towers a popular option.

Agreement: NorthView

The NorthView agreement is year-round and includes Fall, Spring, and the following Summer. Residents at NorthView enjoy private bedrooms and bathrooms in every apartment, along with amenities like a resort-style pool, game room and fitness center.

Campus: Rosen College of Hospitality Management

Agreement: Rosen

The Rosen College Apartments agreement includes Fall and Spring, with the option of adding Summer. For students looking to make it in the hospitality industry, Rosen College Apartments put you right in the center of Orlando’s bustling tourism industry.

Campus: UCF Downtown

Agreement: UnionWest

UnionWest at Creative Village offers a year-round agreement, which includes Fall, Spring, and the following Summer. UnionWest is a great option for Knights who are studying communications, digital media, public administration, legal studies, public affairs, and health management and informatics. In addition to being close to classes at UCF Downtown, students can find tons of opportunities in the heart of downtown Orlando.

Off Campus: Affiliated Housing

If you’re looking for something off-campus, these properties are affiliated with UCF. If you choose affiliated housing, you will sign a private lease with their office, and do not need to follow the remaining application steps for UCF Housing.
