Posted Wednesday, February 10, 2021 @ 11:14 AM With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, we wanted to assemble some safe and fun activities happening around campus and around Orlando for all of our residents who need a little love added to their week! Campus Activities LGBTQ+ Services is hosting a Valentine’s Day Carnival on February 12th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.! Join them at Memory Mall for games, trivia and prizes! Masks are required, so show some love but do it safely! UCF CAB is hosting a Valentines Day Music Trivia on February 12th from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Student Union Starbucks! Bring your Galentines or Valentines and sip some sweet Starbucks while you play trivia! RHAUCF is hosting a Candy and Kindness Event at the Rosen Campus! Come and get your candy and a sweet message from our RHA and Rosen Area Council volunteers! Their table will be by the front Rosen Fountain from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on February 11th. RHAUCF is also hosting a week long event called “Be-YOU-tiful week” during the week of the 15th through the 19th. Join them in a fun virtual event every day celebrating self love. Leu Gardens Valentine’s Movie: When Harry Met Sally Gardens open at 6:00 p.m., Movie time at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy an outdoor movie with your favorite date. Pack a dinner picnic basket and seating. This movie is rated R, children under 17 years of age require accompanying parent or adult guardian, weather permitting. Tickets are limited. Social distancing is required. You must space 6 ft apart from the next group. No groups of more than 10 people. Face masks are required during the event and in all buildings. The Southern Hill Market will be open and selling handcrafted candles, lip balm, sugar scrub, local raw honey, and more. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. Bring your blanket or folding chair to sit and watch the movie on the lawn! No outside drinks, coolers or catered meals permitted.
