Please contact the Professional Staff Recruitment Committee: ResLifeSelection@ucf.edu well in advance of the April 1st 2021 deadline if you believe you may not be accepted to your graduate program of study by this date. Please provide a reason for this delay and the committee will evaluate your case and may be able to accommodate depending on your specific circumstance.

UCF Graduate Coordinators receive a tuition waiver (not including fees) for full-time graduate enrollment, which is typically nine credit hours per semester. If you have more than nine credit hours per semester, the Department of Housing and Residence Life (DHRL) may be able to cover additional credit hours. Please notify the Professional Staff Recruitment Committee: ResLifeSelection@ucf.edu if you believe you will be taking more than nine credit hours per semester for your graduate program of study.

Please communicate with the Professional Staff Recruitment Committee: ResLifeSelection@ucf.edu if you are an international student and will not be able to start employment in the Summer of 2021 due to visa restrictions. We will do our best to work to accommodate you and your restrictions. Please be sure to also make a note on your application when you will be able to start employment and specify your reason why (There is a question related to this on the Graduate Coordinator application).

No, you do not need to be enrolled in classes for the Summer semester if you are starting employment with the Housing and Residential Life Department in the Summer of 2021. You will, however, need to be enrolled as a full-time graduate student for the Fall 2021 semester.

UCF Graduate Coordinators are trained during the Summer semester and thus, we require all our Graduate Coordinators to be present for the Summer semester to begin training and working in their positions. Additionally, many of our communities and other initiatives operate annually and require staff during the Summer semester. Graduate Coordinators will only be excused from starting employment in Summer under special circumstances. Please contact the Professional Staff Recruitment Committee: ResLifeSelection@ucf.edu if you believe you may have special circumstances that need to be considered.
