Training varies based on the particular position and the time of year you are being hired. Once you are formally approved through HR, your supervisor will communicate with you regarding training.

In regards to the Resident Assistant process, student staff training is mandatory. If you cannot attend training at the start of your first semester of employment, you must inform ResLifeSelection@ucf.edu at the time of your offer. If you are unable to attend a session or part of training due to an academic or family obligation, Training is required, and any exemptions must be approved through your Coordinator and Assistant Director. Keep this in mind when applying as training typically occurs about two weeks prior to the start of each academic semester.
