Step 2: Select Proof of Vaccination OR Testing pre-registration
  • Students who choose to show proof of vaccination will follow the instructions in the housing portal to submit their documentation.
  • Student who choose to test must register with COVID Testing LLC for their testing appointment per the instructions in the housing portal.

Option 1: Proof of Vaccination

  • Complete the Proof of COVID Vaccination for Testing Exemption form on the Student Health Services website.
  • Make sure to enter your UCFID correctly on the form (NOT your NID).
  • Student Health Services will email you approval of your vaccination documentation.  Please make sure to save this email (or a screen shot of it) to display at move-in.
  • Allow up to 72 hours for a response from Student Health Services regarding vaccination documentation approval.
  • We highly recommend submitting your documentation by Friday, June 18, 2021 to ensure a response before move-in.
  • You should plan to arrive to the housing check-in location at your appointment time to display your vaccination documentation approval, encode your student ID card as your key, and receive other check-in materials.

Option 2: COVID-19 Testing

Incoming residents without approved vaccination documentation must complete a COVID-19 test. Residents of the Rosen Campus may choose to schedule a move-in day appointment at the main UCF campus on June 25th or 26th, or may utilize one the the COVID Testing LLC alternative locations listed below. Testing will not be available at the Rosen campus for Summer B move-in. Only test results from COVID Testing LLC may be used.

Prior to your check-in day, you must pre-register your medical information with COVID Testing LLC, following the instructions in the housing portal. You will receive a QR code from COVID Testing LLC that you should bring to your COVID test.

You should plan to arrive to the main campus testing location at the Addition Financial Arena at your COVID test appointment time.  A rapid COVID-19 test will be administered to you, and the results sent within 15-20 minutes.  Once you receive a negative test result, you may proceed to the Rosen Campus for check-in, where you will display your test result, encode your student ID card as your key, and receive other check-in materials.

Any resident arriving outside of testing hours may test at an alternative COVID Testing LLC location:

  • East Orlando mobile site:
    • 10392 E. Colonial Drive Orlando, FL 32819
    • 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mon. – Sat.
  • Evening location:
    • 1561 Fairbanks Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32789
    • 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mon. – Fri. and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sat.
  • Sunday testing:
    • 2350 33rd Street, Orlando, Florida 32839
    • 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mon. – Sat. and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sun.

For testing at an alternative location listed above, go to the most convenient testing center listed above during operating hours, and show your QR registration code. COVID Testing LLC staff will then complete the testing and the result will be sent to you electronically.

As long as you pre-register with COVID Testing LLC using the link provided above, your testing cost will be covered by UCF.

No residents will be permitted to move in to their on-campus room until an approved negative COVID-19 test result is received. Please note that your move-in must be within 48 hours after your negative test result.

Be prepared for your test results- see Move-in Day page for details on the move-in procedures for negative and positive test results.

*If you have previously tested positive for COVID-19, you are still required to test at move-in. Bring documentation of your previous testing results with you.  After testing, contact tracers will work with you to review symptoms, assess your documentation, and determine on a case-by-case basis if you may be permitted to move-in.
