Setting Up Your Room

Internet Setup

In order to connect to the internet in your room, you will need a computer equipped with at least a 10Mb Ethernet interface and a standard Ethernet cable to connect the computer to the provided Ethernet wall jack. Watch this video to see the internet setup process. You may view more information at the ResNet website. If you have questions regarding your internet set-up, you may contact the UCF IT Support Center at 407-823-5117.

TV Setup

All rooms at Rosen are equipped with a residential cable converter box and cable TV service. You will need to provide your own television, coax or HDMI cord. If you are in a shared room, we suggest communicating with your roommate to decide who needs to bring a TV. Watch this video to see the cable setup process.

Bed (Mattress) Height

If a student wants to have their bed raised, only the Housing maintenance staff are permitted to alter bed heights. Place a request at fo.ucf.edu. No risers, lofts, or other types of lifting devices may be placed under the bed frame.
