You are eligible to apply for student staff positions at UnionWest located at our Downtown Campus.

If you were hired as a Resident Assistant or Conference Assistant, we will provide housing during training and work periods. If you were hired as an Office Assistant, Residence Hall and Apartment Patrol, Housing Ambassador, or Mail room Assistant, we will not provide housing accommodations. If you do live on campus, you are responsible for requesting a housing accommodation if needed for training periods.

Try and do some mock interviews with friends, mentors, or Career Service. Focus on your strengths and how you can apply them to the position you are interviewing for.

Each position posted on erezLife will specifically state which semesters the application is intended for. We cannot guarantee vacancies at any time. We accept applications for Office Assistants and Residence Hall & Apartment Patrol throughout the year, with application review and a limited number of interviews being conducted once per semester. Applications for Conference Assistants will be available early Spring semester for Summer employment. Housing Ambassador applications are posted when vacancies arise. For Resident Assistants our application is always posted July 1 – October 1 for positions for the follow Spring (January) semester as well as the following Summer (May) to Spring academic year.

No, you can be an off-campus student and still be eligible for our positions (including the Resident Assistant position).

You must have a minimum 2.50 overall cumulative GPA. You must be free of any current violations, or sanctions, with the Department of Housing and Residence Life and the Office of Student Conduct at time of application, offer, and start of employment. This will include possessing a current clear status with both departments in regards to disciplinary probation.

You will be contacted in the event that we are moving you to the next phase of the hiring process (after an application, we would contact you for an interview or let you know that you do not meet the minimum qualifications at this time). We may not be able to move everyone forward.

The interview timelines vary based on the specific job. If your application meets our criteria, you may be invited to interview for the position. We may not be able to offer an interview to everyone who applies based on the total number of applicants and our hiring needs at that time. Please alert your references to be on the look-out. It is very important to note that your references will not receive any notification until after you finalize and submit your application.
