Students must request a “No space” letter from the Department of Housing and Residence Life. The student contract holder then submits the letter to the FPCP and requests a refund. Students will receive an amount equal to the amount being paid for a dormitory space on campus. The refund will be provided for two semesters so that it may be used to offset the costs associated with off-campus living. Students must submit a Housing application for Fall or Spring to receive a “No Space” letter from UCF per FPCP.
Yes, you can request that your benefit be paid directly to The Pointe at Central or Knights Circle by contacting the property manager
Yes, you can. FPCP pays prepayments for one given semester to one university.
When you complete the online housing application on myUCF, there will be a section to indicate your FPCP dormitory contract number on the Housing Application Payment page (see screen shot below). Please make sure to put in the correct number for your plan and press the Submit button. You will see that your prepayment will change to $0 and the page will indicate that the prepayment will be billed to the Florida Prepaid Dormitory Plan. You should then select the Next button at the bottom of the page. FPCP will be billed for your housing prepayment and housing rental amounts.
We will give you a space in on-campus housing if you apply for housing by March 1 and indicated that you have a FPCP dormitory contract.
Priority for on-campus housing goes to incoming first-year students. Remaining spaces are made available to returning residents via a lottery process. If you apply during the lottery process prior to the application window closing, you will receive priority. This is not a guarantee of an offer of housing. In order to receive priority, you must have at least one unit of FPCP dormitory contract.
