New Associate Director of Residence Life and Education, Tiffany Conde, is joining the Housing and Residence Life senior leadership team! She was chosen from a group of competitive and well-qualified candidates and is “thrilled to join the UCF team and Knight Nation.”

Tiffany earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and a Master of Science in Counseling: College Student Personnel from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. She has held roles in residence life at Saint Joseph’s University, Shippensburg University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Virginia, and most recently at the University of South Carolina.  At her previous institution, she served as an Assistant Director with collateral responsibilities in student staff selection, student staff training and education, student leadership programs, quarantine and isolation, and residential curriculum design.

This year Tiffany will participate in the ACUHO-I Leadership Academy. The ACUHO-I Leadership Academy is a unique opportunity for housing and residence life professionals from underrepresented backgrounds to gain leadership skills and experience that translate to positions on their home campuses and within the association’s volunteer leadership pipeline. “I’m confident that the skills I will learn through the Leadership Academy will inform the conversations around diversity, equity, and inclusion within our department, hopefully resulting in tangible programs and initiatives that will amplify the voices of our diverse student population,” Tiffany stated. The 2021 cohort is composed of 12 housing and residence life professionals who identify as Black women. She was also the 2021 recipient of the SEAHO Outstanding Mid-Level Professional Award.

As she embarks on this new journey, Tiffany shares that she is “looking forward to building relationships with all levels of the residence life team and our various campus partners so we can collectively serve as strong supporters, champions, and advocates for residential students.  I’m most excited about the opportunity to elevate the residential experience for our students and helping them grow as learners during their time on campus.”

Welcome home to our new Knight. We’re excited to have you Charge On with us!
